Their colors are magnificent and unusual. However, do not use these paintings, because we need permission for this. But you can create something similar to his art. The mountains should be the Himalayas. It might be Kangchenjunga. The "Aleister Crowley in India" cover, which is attached, really fits our vision for this book. We really like its colors and its art-like appearance. However, we think it is overcrowded with symbols and portrays. Note that the colors of this "Crowley" cover are bright and saturated, and remain the same after changing its mode from RGB to CMYK. Please remember that our cover will be printed in the CMYK mode, and so we do not need vibrant colors from the RGB palette which will be pleasing to the eye, but will be impossible to reproduce in CMYK. Please also pay special attention to typography. The main title (“The Land of the Gods”) should be readable when the cover is in the thumbnail size (think of readers who browse on Amazon, looking through many small covers). The selected designer should be able to provide us with the final book cover files with all layers that are editable for publication purposes. The winner will be credited on the back cover of the print book and on the copyright page of its electronic edition.

We are not against the use of stock images. However, please, do not use them as they are — that is, without any kind of creative input to change them somehow or to combine with other stock images. If we needed a cover with an intact stock image and fonts placed over it, we would do it ourselves ;)
